This is also a great opportunity for workplaces, faith communities, student organizations, civic groups, and families looking for a hands-on service project.
Our community home needs care, too. Help us tend the gardens and outdoor spaces at Nsoromma House through planting, watering, weeding, seasonal clean-up, beautification, and other grounds-care projects.
Individuals and volunteer groups are welcome.
Nurturing Freedom Saturday Academy
Help BEE educators, teaching artists, and our youth Counselors in Training create joyful, culturally rooted experiences for children and families.
Volunteers may support art and literacy activities, nature experiences, program set-up, family welcome, meals and snacks, supplies, and clean-up.
Adults serving directly with children may be required to complete orientation, screening, a background check, and other child-safeguarding requirements.
