Civic Engagement and Advocacy Virtual Training (Virtual)

Save the Children Action Network (SCAN) in partnership with the BEE (Beloved, Early, Education) Collective invites you to join us Saturday, July 13th at 11:00am for an advocacy training overviewing state and federal legislative processes.
In this training, you’ll learn how a bill becomes a law at both the state and federal level, and how we as advocates can impact the legislative process. The training will grow your confidence engaging with lawmakers and provide fundamentals that you can use in your advocacy for children in South Carolina, across the U.S and internationally.
At this training you will: Connect with fellow advocates in South Carolina. Learn the fundamental building blocks of how to pass laws at the state and federal level. Learn how advocacy can impact the legislative process. Free and open to the public. Registration required.
